2020 Membership Fees  Overdue

We’d like to remind our members not already in possession of their 2020 membership permit that fees for season 2020 are now overdue.

We do acknowledge that the vast majority of members have already renewed, many before the season started and that’s very much appreciated as it lets us view possible income for the year ahead and make plans. We also understand a number wait to renew until the first fish is caught or the weather improves and that these factors have coincided this  year with the COVID-19 restrictions. This may have influenced their decision to renew for season 2020 for a few people.

While the lockdown restrictions are likely to remain in place until the end of the month, we hope that the situation will improve such that travel restrictions to take part in various sports that can be socially distanced, such as fishing and golf, will be eased.    Representations on fishing have been sent to the UK and Scottish Governments for consideration by a number of angling bodies.

The L.L.A.I.A however still has its financial outgoings to meet and our leases for 2020 still required to be paid and despite the COVID-19 our bailiffs are still out protecting the fishery and their salary’s and costs of vans, fuel still all need to be paid no matter what, and form the vast majority of our expenditure. So we kindly ask that those members still to renew do so in order to support the ongoing work and commitments of the L.L.A.I.A and renew before the 1st of June and so as not to lose their membership entitlements.

7(c) Any member who has failed to pay his annual subscription by the 1st day in March in any year shall be held in arrears, and any member still in arrears by the 1st day in June in any year shall cease to be a member but shall, notwithstanding, be liable for all arrears. Members subscriptions for any season must be paid before they fish.

Please remember that it can take up to a fortnight for renewals to be processed if using the application form and the Royal Mail to our office as we are still receiving mail. A quicker service will be by paying via PayPal links on the membership page of our website, or we will accept a bank transfer, just email treasurer@lochlomondangling.com and our Treasurer will send the L.L.A.I.A bank details.
