’No rumour for Russell!’
Over the past week there have been reports of fresh fish moving up river and some unconfirmed reports of fish caught……
We are delighted to report that this afternoon Leven regular Russell Brownlie landed his first salmon of the season, a classic (12lbs) Lomond System springer at the Piles on a Temple Dog. Well done Russell!
Fine weather at the weekend saw many anglers on the banks and this news will be most welcome to our regulars and visitors. With the Loch level dropping back again the gates closed this morning to give us the agreed ‘weekend level’. More rain forecast so it won’t be long till they’re dropped again…
