We are pleased to announce that the River Leven clean up scheduled for Saturday 2 June/Sunday 3 June will definitely go ahead, meeting at Bonhill Bridge at 10am both days. Last year due to high water we had to cancel two proposed clean ups, but the dry spell recently has seen water levels fall sufficiently to allow for a’ deep clean’. Anyone planning to fish please note that the gates will be closed over the weekend with no compensation flow. We have asked Scottish Water to begin the following weekend’s freshet on the Wednesday.
All volunteers are very welcome and gloves and refreshments will be provided. If the good weather continues don’t forget to bring your sun tan oil…
