River Leven Barrage
Scottish Water have intimated that due to ongoing works on the barrage they require the gates to remain in control to provide lower water levels downstream for working. They will still abide by the statutory 26ft control level if the loch rises but for the period of the works they will need to temporarily suspend the lower 25ft control level (operative from August). As far as we know the weekend freshet shouldn’t be affected.
