The current weather forecast for Saturday 29 September is moderate WSW winds 14-18mph with stronger gusts all day and light rain in the afternoon 3pm onwards.
As things sound rather blustery we have decided to continue with the competition but cancel the BBQ. As the Spit o the Murrin will be taking the brunt of these conditions the ‘weigh in’ will be held at the more sheltered sandy bay on the N side of Inchmoan (Geggles area) at an earlier time of 4pm.
All anglers, particularly those returning to Balloch, are asked to take extreme care, take no risks and ensure that life jackets are worn.
Last year we had no wind and this year too much!
