LLAIA Baliff Samuel McBrearty was first on the scene of a serious road accident on Saturday evening as he drove through Glen Fruin. With some quick thinking Samuel was able to quickly provide valuable basic first aid and reassurance to the three occupants of a vehicle which had left the road resulting in a range of injuries to its driver and two passengers. Following the administration of first aid Samuel contacted the emergency services and remained on scene providing space blankets and reassurance to the accident victims until the ambulance and police services arrived.
We wish all of the occupants of the car a quick and speedy recovery and I am sure that they will gratefully acknowledge and thank Samuel for his calmness, knowledge, reassurance and support that he provided until the emergency services arrived.
