After the long weeks of being separated from our beloved fishing today finally sees a much welcomed and long awaited return to fishing – whatever your chosen form of angling. It looks like today will see a large contingent of members and anglers on the banks and afloat once more which is a great sign of progress as we gradually and cautiously emerge from the enforced lockdown. Whilst not alone I believe anglers in particular do not take readily to being restricted in terms of the outdoors and the pursuit of their beloved angling. We want all to thererefor enjoy this initial return to our waters but in doing so please be mindful of and pay careful attention to the measures and guidelines that underpin this relaxation of previous measures.
We wish everyone the best of luck in their fishing exploits and respectfully ask that once you have fought and carefully landed and unhooked your prize fish, observing best practice in handling, that you do share your tales, stories and photographs with us. In doing so we can recognise and share your successes with all of our members and visitors. Please send your photographs and details by email to reports@lochlomondangling.com
Please ensure you are fishing safely when angling in respect of both adherence to Covid-19 Scottish Government guidelines and whilst on and beside the water.
If you are unsure or require any information concerning the current Scottish Government guidelines that currently apply you can find details here: https://www.gov.scot/
